How to Use hop bike?

Hitting the road with the highly-equipped hop bike is just as easy as renting a hop scooter. For a safe and enjoyable experience, here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Scan the QR, Get Ready

Open the hop app and unlock the bike by scanning the QR code on the handlebar. Before setting off, be sure to adjust the seat to your height to find your ideal riding position.

2. Pedal and Enjoy a Smooth Ride

The moment you turn the pedal, you will feel yourself accelerating with electric power. When you want to slow down, simply squeeze the brake gently. While riding in the city, always prefer the bike lane, or the right lane if there isn't one.

3. Park Civilly

When you complete your ride, park your bike in a way that doesn't sabotage pedestrian paths, disabled ramps, and building entrances. Put down the kickstand, take a photo through your app, and end your ride safely.

4. Never Skip the Safety Rules

The safety of you and those around you is paramount. Always ride the hop bike solo and wear your helmet. Make sure to reduce your speed when going downhill, take care to be visible during night rides, and for your safety, never ride under the influence of alcohol.
